Truck fire

Protivin Fire Department was paged out for a truck on fire next to a corn field on 170th Street and Willow Avenue just four miles north of Protivin on October 20 at 3:50 p.m. The truck was attached to a fuel buggy that the owner did get unhooked before the fire took the whole truck. The truck was a total loss. The Protivin Fire Department was assisted by the Howard County Sheriffs Department and the Howard County dispatch center. Submitted by Chris Shimek.
